EU representative to debate Montenegro presidential election

A representative of the EU’s Enlargement Directorate met Montenegrin officials and opposition leaders to discuss, among other things, rows over the recent presidential election.

Dirk Lange, head of the Montenegro unit in the European Commission’s Enlargement Directorate, on Thursday met Dusko Markovic, Montenegrin Justice Minister, and Ranko Krivokapic, speaker of parliament.

The presidential election, held on April 7, was one of the topics of the meetings.
