Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, on Sunday led a delegation on an official visit to Macedonia and Kosovo as part of efforts to promote economic cooperation.
Al Mansouri, in a statement, said the 3-day visit is aimed at expanding cooperation between the UAE and the two counties, looking into the investment opportunities, and encouraging the private sector and the business community to initiate joint projects to enhance economic growth in the three countries.
Sectors such as agriculture and food industries in particular, are targeted by the UAE as it seeks to strengthen food security, according to the minister.
The forthcoming visit to Macedonia and Kosovo is part of the UAE foreign policy which aims to explore opportunities for establishing successful economic partnerships and projects, he noted.
