Turkey to continue EU reforms

Turkey’s minister of EU affairs and the chief negotiator Egemen Bagis said Monday that Turkey would carry on with the reforms within the framework of EU focusing more on the process rather than the outcome.

Bagis went to Croatian capital Zagreb for the celebrations held for the country’s entrance to EU.

Stating it was not a right thing to do to make a comparison between Turkey and Croatia in terms of EU membership, Bagis said “Turkey is one of the most dynamic countries in Europe with its 76-million population, the fastest growing economy as well as having the strongest army while Croatia is a country with a population of 4.5 millions.”
