Iran Joins Wheat Exporting Countries

Iran’s Agricultural Jihad Minister Mohammad Reza Eskandari said his country has joined the club of wheat exporting countries. Speaking to FNA here on Sunday, Eskandari said his country has started exporting wheat to different neighboring countries, including the Persian Gulf littoral states and Azerbaijan.

He said Iran is predicted to produce 15 mln tons of wheat in the current (Iranian) year – ending to March 20.
