Quake Hits Western Iran

An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Sahneh in Iran’s western province of Kermanshah on Sunday. The seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 10:08:38 hours local time (06:38:38 GMT).

The epicenter of the quake was located in an area measuring 47.59 degrees in longitude and 34.53 degrees in latitude.

Governor of Sahneh told FNA that the quake has fortunately caused no casualties or damage to property.
