Iran’s Economic Growth Exceeds 6%

A0237018.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iran’s economic growth during the first 9 months of the current (Iranian) year surpassed 6%, said president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Sunday as he submitted the new Iranian year’s budget bill to the parliament.

“This is the first time Iran’s non-oil exports amounted to US$10.5 bln, which has even exceeded the figures expected by the development plan,” Ahmadinejad stated.

According to Iran’s solar calendar, each year starts on March 21 and ends on the next March 20.
