Ortega Lauds Iran’s Aids to Nicaragua

A00905688.jpgNicaraguan President Daniel Ortega appreciated the medical aids and assistance by Iran’s Red Crescent Society to the people of his country during the recent rainstorms which killed and wounded a large number of Nicaraguans. Speaking during a meeting with the Iranian medical team, Ortega praised the valuable services and prompt measures adopted by the Red Crescent Society.

After the recent rainstorms in Nicaragua, Iran dispatched a team of medical experts, including 8 physicians and nurses, along with large volumes of drugs and medical equipment to Nicaragua on September 16 to help those affected by the rainstorms in that country.
