Quake Hits Southeastern Iran

A00423958.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted Anbar Abad in Iran’s southeastern province of Kerman Tuesday morning.

The seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the Quake at 08:03 hours local time (04:33 GMT).

The epicenter of the quake was located in an area measuring 57.49 degrees in longitude and 30.98 degrees in latitude.

No reports have yet been received on the possible number of casualties or damage to properties by the quake.
