Pakistani PM willing to resolve all outstanding issues with India

imgPakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed desire to resolve all outstanding issues with India.

Addressing the fourth Literary and Cultural Conference, Prime Minister Sharif hoped that visa restrictions between Pakistan and India would be eliminated. The prime minister said the Pak-India dialogue process should move forward like it did in 1999. “If India takes one step forward, we will take two.”

The prime minister said that Pakistan and India were neighbours and Islam teaches good relations with ones neighbours. He added that the resolution of outstanding issues with India would be beneficial for both countries.

According to the prime minister his party had not made any anti-India statements during the electoral campaign. “We did not say one word against India.”

Sharif said that there should be no politics on issues of national interest which include the economy and terrorism.
