TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An Iranian MP said that the victories of the Lebanese Hezbollah rang the bell of Islamic vigilance in the world, the Islamic world in particular.
Vice-Chairman of the Parliament’s Cultural Commission Mohammad Reza Tajoddini stressed that the strong resistance of the Lebanese Hezbollah against the Zionist regime and the ensuing vigilance of the Islamic nations are both products of the Sacred Defense of the Iranian nation (i.e. during the 8 years of Iraqi imposed war on Iran from 1980 to1988).
He reminded that the defense tactics and religious faith of Hezbollah troops resemble those of the Iranian soldiers who fought against the Bathist forces of Iraq during the sacred defense.
